As we age our bodies change and sometimes we need assistance with our daily necessities. We understand the challenges families navigate during this time of change. All of our Assistants have experience assisting families with personal care and have respect for your dignity. Not all of our Clients ask for assistance with personal care, however you can be assured that if you do want occasional assistance our Assistants are confident in their abilities.
What is Personal Care?
Personal care involves hygiene assistance with grooming tasks such as:
- Shaving
- Brushing teeth
- Cleaning dentures
- Stand by bath assistance
- Full bath assistance
- Bed baths
- Toileting assistance
- Assistance with briefs and pads
- Transport and escort to the Beauty Salon
